What we do at your first visit to Glenferrie Orthodontics.
The first visit is spent gathering basic information about any concerns you or your dentist may have regarding your teeth. We take notes and measurements relating to your face and teeth. If you wish to proceed with further treatment, we may gather more information.
This further information would include photographs of your face and teeth. We would also refer you to a radiographer for specific orthodontic radiographs. We recommend you get these taken as soon as possible after your appointment. The radiographer will deliver (or email) the radiographs to our office in order for the orthodontist to assess them before your next appointment.
The next step is a consultation appointment where the orthodontist will discuss the recommended orthodontic treatment with you. There is often several possible treatment options available. Your orthodontist will also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
